Casey Nagy
Casey Nagy joined the Secretary’s Office in September 2009, where he presently assists on major university initiatives and helps oversee the operations of the Yale University Press and the Office of Marketing and Trademark Licensing. Mr. Nagy spent almost twenty years in administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, first in the Office of Administrative and Legal Affairs, followed by successive seven-year stints as Chief of Staff to the Provost and Chief of Staff to the Chancellor. Prior to joining the UW-Madison, Mr. Nagy practiced in the fields of maritime, employment and civil rights law, and served as a Municipal Judge. He holds a B.A. degree in Anthropology from Washington State University, an M.A. degree in Anthropology from the UW-Madison and a J.D. from Seattle University. In 2008, he published his first novel, and currently is working on a second.
