During 1996, the Institute conducted a program of six
seminars for Fellows, opened five Centers for Professional and Curricular
Development in the schools, held a summer Academy for New Haven students,
developed further the relationship of its resources to school curricula,
published two numbers of the periodical in the Institute s field of
university-school partnership, held two meetings of the Editorial Board
and one meeting of the National Advisory Committee, and pursued its fund
raising to ensure the continuation of its activity in New Haven and across
the country over the longer term.
